It was an entirely different atmosphere! Smells were different, the cars were WAY louder, and they got more passing in. It was great to watch! I still have some of the clips from the bumping and grinding a few of them were doing to make passes.

Cold weather, possibly of rain, and last minute changes do that.

It was "empty" because it was 40 degrees and drizzling. Everyone thought it would be rained out. Let alone the fact that this was a last minute change. As soon as the NASCAR Mexico race ended, it started raining hard.

@@V8_Diva the problem was it WAS empty ! Any excuse is just that- a freaking excuse. When I go to a race- not NASCAR anymore- if it starts to "drizzle" I stay in my seat wanting it to stop. They never filled that place and those who may have been there bailed on a bad show, not "drizzle". NASCAR is dying by self inflicted cuts. They need to stay in their comfort zone - Daytona.

@@davidblantz Daytona clash races had little to no attendees and ended with wrecked cars. Don't forget the past. Edit: Not everyone is like you, willing to sit in the rain.

@@V8_Diva I never did forget. Why? Because Speed Weeks at Daytona was a helluva lot better than NASCAR crap today. It's all gimmicks and promo time with damned little dedicated to racing. ESPN used to carry all aspects of Speed Weeks and it was great. And Daytona in February was the start of racing for real. Gimmick racing is all they have today. It's unwatchable on TV with the endless product plugs and stupid question interviews about nonsense. As far as waiting on the rain- I go to watch racing, and it pisses me off when it rains out. I can wait out a rain delay and many times I have. I pay good money for a short track race and I want to see the damned race ! That's what fans do ! It's about racing, not tailgating, or drinking, or barbeques. It's what stars are running and watching them battle it out ! For over 60 years, that's what I've done. I'm not there for the gimmicks and TV timeouts !

All of the stabilization is controlled by Samsung's software, which for this new 5x Optical Zoom 50MP telephoto, is brand new. I've recorded comparably more stable videos on bigger tracks over even further distances such as Autoclub speedway with prior cameras. I haven't changed my filming style, and the S24 Ultra is brand new. I like using NASCAR races as a good way of stress testing their cameras. A lot of the jittering the camera sees can be from a number of things. Edit: I believe a lot of the vibrations in the camera are from the big speakers positioned right in front of that section.

Back when I originally got my car, this was just after a single hand-wash!

I believe it was row 25. I'm unsure exactly but I know that it was definitely between row 20-25. We sat higher than we did last year which I think was row 22, because some of the back side was cut off from the buildings unless you stood up.

@@V8_Diva Thanks! Bought row 22 for my trip next year. Unfortunately the price more than doubles for rows 23 and above.

@@The_RC_Enthusiast I believe I'm able to get my same 3 seats for a similar price as this year. I have to face that price increase at Sonoma though, I plan to sit in the grandstands next time.

@@V8_Diva Where did you sit at for Sonoma? I was in the grandstands. It was cool for the race start, but we eventually wandered off to turn 2 and the fan zone for better views of the action (and it was less loud)
